Hello, Fall! It’s official–it’s October, so it’s Fall. Nevermind that it’s 80 degrees outside. I’m all about mirroring transitions, so I am also transitioning into October: clothes, hair, skin, and meal plans. So on and so forth. I’m a fan of using already existing situations to motivate. Fall is a perfect time. I have my birthday at the start of the season, too, so it’s always held pleasant and positive connotations for me. I love Fall. Love the cooler temperatures. And, I love the opportunity for growth and re-alignment towards my goals. I always try to make space for regular self-evaluations. It can be a struggle, especially to be honest with yourself. There is a thin line between being over-critical and too easy on yourself, and I’m pretty sure that instead of straddling the line, I jump from side to side on any day.

Lack of time = toast

We’re all a work-in-progress, right?
Anyway, I feel lately like I’ve been drifting from my goals a little bit (which also involve this blog…sorry guys–anyone? Beuller?) and kind of falling (FALL -ing? Get it?) into a work-work-work routine. And work has been CRAZY busy. So, I definitely need to reset and re-start. It’s so easy to do, and so important not to do, haha.

On my list: relaxing
So this month, I’m re-adjusting and trying to be a little bit more proactive from week to week. I’m also trying to be more realistic from day-to-day; I have a habit of setting up and making a really long list for every day. The list is a little overwhelming, and so I end up doing almost nothing because I don’t have a realistic plan.
In response to this, these past few weeks, I’ve been restricting how many things I’m trying to get done from day-to-day. That means adjusting my priorities, and also assessing my time more realistically.
But Fall is the perfect time for that. Harvest-time, y’all.
To that end: see you soon! <3
